Ever wondered what it's like to be a Pizza Bar pizza chef?
For the school holidays, we're opening Pizza Bar during the day for a special hands-on Kids Pizza School.
Kids will make dough from scratch, learn how to stretch a proper pizza base, compete in our Pizza Challenges, make and cook their own pizza, eat lunch together and take home their own dough to make another pizza the next day.
And yes — there are trophies up for grabs!
WHAT HAPPENS AT PIZZA SCHOOL?
1. DESIGN YOUR PIZZA CHEF HAT
Every Pizza Chef starts with their own chef hat.
Write your chef name on it, decorate it and wear it throughout Pizza School.
We'll also be choosing a Best Pizza Chef Hat at the end of the session.
2. MAKE YOUR OWN PIZZA DOUGH
Make real pizza dough from scratch.
You'll mix the ingredients, knead your dough and learn how to turn it into a proper dough ball.
But we're not cooking this one!
Your dough will be packed into your own labelled take-home bag so it can continue developing.
Take it home and make your own pizza the next day.
3. PIZZA SCHOOL
Now it's time to learn how the Pizza Bar chefs do it.
We'll show you how to:

Then it's your turn.
THE PIZZA CHALLENGE
Time to put those new pizza-making skills to the test.
We're running three Pizza Bar challenges, with a special 3D-printed Pizza Bar trophy for the winner of each one.

Who can stretch the most beautifully shaped, perfectly round pizza base?

Who can create the biggest and best-looking pizza crust?
🏆 CRAZY PIZZA CHAMPION
Forget perfect circles.
Who can make the funniest, weirdest and most creative pizza shape?
Our three champions will take home their own special Pizza Bar 3D-printed trophy.
MAKE YOUR OWN PIZZA
Now for the important part.
Every child gets their own properly proved Pizza Bar dough ball.
Stretch it.
Choose your toppings.
Build your pizza exactly how you want it.
Then our Pizza Bar team will put it into the oven and cook it for you.
You'll be able to watch your own creation turn into a real Pizza Bar pizza.
YOUR PIZZA BAR CHEF PHOTO
Chef hat on.
Finished pizza in hand.
We'll have a special Pizza Bar photo area set up where each child can have their official Pizza Bar Pizza Chef photo taken.
Parents who choose to participate can receive their child's photo digitally after the session.
PIZZA PARTY
Once everyone's pizzas are cooked, it's time to sit down together and eat them.
Every child receives:
Their own pizza
Soft drink
and a choice of:
Frog in a Pond or Ice Cream

PARENTS & GUARDIANS
Parents aren't being sent home!
A parent or responsible guardian must remain at Pizza Bar for the entire two-hour Pizza School session.
Parents can relax in our dining room and booths while the Pizza Bar team runs Pizza School.
We'll have a special daytime menu available for parents including:
SELECTED PIZZA BAR PIZZAS – All $20

Sit back, have some lunch and watch the kids become Pizza Bar chefs.
Pizza School is not a drop-off program.
Every participating child must have a nominated parent or responsible guardian remaining on the Pizza Bar premises throughout the session.
